    Hey,

I saw that you had installed at Viper 5901. I have a 2005 F150 with keyless entry. I'm going to be installing a 5901. Which bypass module would you suggest? I've been looking at the ADS-TBSL-FM on idatalink.com but I can't seem to find it for sale anywhere, only the ADS-TBSL.

I don't have the programming link for the computer or anything like that. I'm hoping to find something that is just plug and play.

    Thanks,

    Dave

no, the LEDs are "cool white" and burn at 4300K, but unless you are a foot away and stare at them you aren't going to tell a difference.

and I have 35W. 55W is a waste of money- the only thing they exceed over 35W is more glare for oncoming drivers

Thanks for the advice in my thread about a good HU to get. I ended up deciding on the 3200DVD; since I found it on Amazon for 314.00, and I have not seen any complaints. I am planning on a self install and I also orderd a Scosche double din kit, and a Scosche Ford harness for it. Now is there anything that I should be worried or thinking about doing this myself? I have installed a few stereos in the past (90's) and I know things have changed. Any advice would be great, and Thanks in advance.

Think I've solved getting a/v connected from hu to back monitor. However, there seems to be no power to the back monitor after disconnecting the second harness from the factory hu (it had "normal" rectangular one plus separate square one for rear). Thoughts on getting power to rear OH monitor? Harness on it has 4 wires, purple/black, gray/black, red and black.

I'm in Gilbert and looking at the 5902 with the Start Smart. Where did you get yours installed? I'm getting a quote of about $700, but I don't think that includes the bypass. Seems a little pricey for me. Email me at bradweech@cox.net, if you have some advice. I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Brad

Forgive me for being an ignorant newbie but I see you give a lot of good advice here.

I'm putting in a Kenwood DDX514 in my '03 F-150 King Ranch and have a question. My truck has a factory overhead monitor/rear entertainment system. Originally had a vcr in the console that was hooked up to that monitor. Can I hook that monitor up to my new head unit? I would think I could run rca cable from video out and a/v ports in the hu but not sure how to connect these to the monitor's harness.

    I'd appreciate any advice.
